TMSA Public Schools go Digital starting on March 16, 2020
CARY, N.C. (March 14, 2020) – After careful consideration, TMSA Public Schools Board has made the decision to move Distance Learning forward due to the Covid-19 virus effective Monday, March 16, 2020. This is an effort to protect our students, staff, and community, and to slow the spread of the virus.
The distance learning will take place over four weeks:
Week 1: (03/16/2020 - 03/20/2020).
“Asynchronous” distance learning – similar to the previous digital days format
Week 2: (03/23/2020 - 03/27/2020)
Includes an Early Spring Break for both TMSA and QCSS schools
Week 3&4: (03/30/2020 - 04/10/2020)
This will involve “Synchronous” or live video distance learning
During this time, we will continue to actively assess and monitor all aspects of this rapidly changing situation. All schools will resume their normal schedules on Monday April 13, 2020.
